General Info

2016 Skepticamp will be held Saturday, January 23.

The doors open at 12:30, and talks begin at 1 pm. Mulligan's has good food, and attendees eat and drink throughout the day. Your alimentary and gustatory needs will be catered to, and libations shall be administered to your gullet. We meet at our regular Saturday evening meeting place, which is at Mulligan's Pub (in the original back room on the south side of Mulligan's).

The 'Camp usually lasts until about 6:30 pm or so, and then we have an after party, sometimes playing board or card games! Invite your friends.

ALL SPEAKER SPOTS ARE FILLED. A good Skepticamp talk encourages discussion, which means a good 'Camp needs comments, questions and, often, a fair bit of humor slathered on. There isn't a list of assigned topics, and there are very loose guidelines. After all, we consider ourselves free thinkers, right? You might think the topics should somehow be at least bound by some relation to skepticism as a philosophy, or world view. You might... you might just think something like that, but I'm not so sure.

We will be running a pretty tight schedule, since bagpipes start at 7 pm (Happy Birthday Robert Burns!) Each presentation has extra time allowed for discussion, questions and comments, plus breaks and an after party for all the socializing and carrying on of said DQC. We know how we are.
